In a UK broadcasting first, from 5 October both listeners and viewers will be able to tune in to the Chris Evans Breakfast Show as the programme is broadcast live on both Virgin Radio and Sky One.
As revealed on Newsline last month (see Chris Evans Takes Radio To Sky One), Evans will broadcast one hour, 7:30-8:30am, of his three hour breakfast show live on BSkyB’s satellite TV channel.
David Campbell, chief executive of Chris Evans’ Ginger Media Group, says: “This is a brilliant concept, almost like two shows rolled into one. We are delighted to be extending our relationship with Sky and hope that viewers will enjoy this unique insight into breakfast radio.”
The Sky One broadcast will be repeated each day at 12:00 noon.
