Chris Evans will stop fronting the Big Breakfast Show on a daily basis next year. He will be given his own evening show once a week, with possibly twice- weekly appearances on the breakfast show, according to John Willis, C4’s director of programming, speaking yesterday at the launch of the autumn season.
John Willis also announced that better than forecast advertising revenues would allow an additional £15m to be ploughed into programming. This is the first year C4 has sold its own airtime.
