CIA Appoints Deputy MD

CIA Medianetwork has appointed Alan Brydon as deputy managing director, with responsibility for leading and developing its client service and planning capability.

Brydon will join CIA in May in May after 15 years with the AMV group, where he was media director of the main agency and latterly managing director of Rocket, the New PHD subsidiary. He joins the management team led by MD Mike Tunnicliffe and current deputy MD Marco Rimini.

Rimini will become vice chairman, relinquishing day-to-day responsibility for internal management to Brydon. Rimini will then oversee the strategic direction of CIA and will develop his role as a senior planning strategist for some of the Group’s key clients, including Unilever and Lloyds TSB.

Tunnicliffe will continue to head CIA Medianetwork.
