Eastenders has climbed to the top of this week’s programme list. All of the episodes of Eastenders shown in the week ending October 13th comfortably beat ITV highest rating programme (which was Monday’s edition of Coronation Street). The episode featuring Ian Beale’s gangland shooting from Monday October 7th attracted an audience of 17.92 million, a TVR of 33 and consolidated share of viewing of 69%.
Average television viewing for individuals four plus has risen slightly by 0.27% when compared to the same week last year. In Astra Panel homes viewing of all channels has also risen this time by 1.8% in comparision to last year’s figure.
