Cinema Admissions Fall Almost 19% In February

Average weekly cinema admissions fell 18.6% year on year in February to a figure of 2.53 million, according to the Cinema Advertising Association. This is compared to 3.11m in February last year. The total for the month was 10.122m, compared to 12.882 in 1996.

Films in February included Sleepers, Evita, Shine and First Wives Club.
