Cinema Admissions Reach 1.71m In May

The latest admission figures released by the Cinema Advertising Association show that May’s average weekly admission figures reached 1.71m. This is an increase of 7.2% on the same period last year which recorded admissions of 1.6m. The monthly total for May was 7,589,374.

These figures are a significant drop from April’s which saw weekly admission figures hit 2.65m, an increase of 22% on the previous year’s.

Films in May included Barb Wire, Hackers, White Squall and Kids.
