According to a report in today’s Evening Standard the recently relaunched listings magazine, City Limits, is suffering from a fall in advertising revenue which could lead to its closure.
The magazine was failing badly in the circulation stakes last year when it was bought out by Terry Hornett, who believed that a change of image would revive it again (Newsline 28/10). However, although circulation has improved, ad performance is not up to expectations. A meeting on Friday will determine the magazine’s future.
