Clare Rush departs DMG Media following ad sales shake up

Following DMG Media’s unification of its advertising divisions, Clare Rush, chief revenue officer, is leaving the business.

The creation of Mail Metro Media – which unites the ad sales for the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, MailOnline, Metro and Metro.co.uk – has been designed to open up “better opportunities” for advertisers across the full portfolio of consumer titles.

Rush, who was at the centre of the change, has decided to move on, DMG said today.

“I would like to thank Clare for her hard work and contribution during a period of significant change in our advertising operation and wish her every success in her future endeavours,” said Kevin Beatty, chief executive officer, DMG Media.

Rush, who had held the role for two years, had previously worked for MEC where she was responsible for driving the commercial delivery for clients and the agency for investment.
