Capital 95.8 FM has won the Gold medal for the Best Top 40 Format at the New York Festival International Radio Awards. This is the second year running that Capital has picked up the trophy.
Classic FM also won two Gold awards; one was for its 16 part documentary series Russian Revelation and, for the second year in a row, Classic took Gold for the Best On Air Programme Promotion Award for its Packed Lunch shows.
