Classic And Virgin Advertising Up

Both Classic FM and Virgin have reported an increase in advertising.

Six months after its launch Virgin 1215 has advertising way ahead of projections. Chief executive David Campbell said that “Our task now is to build on this excellent start, and attract even more listeners”.

Classic FM achieved billings of over £1 million in October for the first time. Chief executive John Spearman said that this “clearly reveals that Classic FM is providing advertisers with the opportunites and the audience they want to reach.”
