Classic Expands To Holland
Classic FM, the UK’s first national commercial radio station, has been awarded one of the first new national commercial radio licences in Holland. Classic FM’s programming in Holland will be similar to the UK, branching into jazz later on in the evening.
Peter Michael, Chairman of Classic FM, said, “Our long-term objective is to build a European network for the station and securing the Dutch licence has been the first and most important step towards achieving this end”.
Radio advertising in Holland has grown by an average of 14% over the past three years.
