The Board of Classic FM has appointed current Chief Executive John Spearman as Deputy Chairman. He also takes on a new executive role developing Classic’s expanding international activities in the US, Continental Europe and Scandanavia. A successor has not yet been found.
A spokesman at Classic also emphatically denied press rumours that the station was about to float on the stock-market and undergo a relaunch.
