Classic FM Signs Six-Figure Sponsorship Deals

Classic FM has signed two separate six-figure sponsorship deals with Kimberly-Clark and Prudential.

The first will see Kimberly-Clark’s Kleenex brand sponsor Classic FM’s Pollen Report, which is broadcast five days a week during the Henry Kelly Breakfast Show. On-air activity will be supported by an online element consisting of a Kleenex microsite, which will be accessible via classicfm.com.

The second deal runs for 12 months and will see Prudential sponsor Classic FM’s finance news, which is broadcast seven times a day throughout the week. The finance bulletins will carry the strapline: “Feel better about your financial future – Have a talk with Prudential” and will direct listeners to the Prudential website.

Both deals were negotiated by Opus on behalf of Classic FM, which according to RAJAR data for the three-month period ending December 2001, saw its weekly reach increase by 10.9% year on year to 6,698,000
