Classic FM/Sainsburys Make Music

Classic FM and Sainsbury’s are launching a joint initiative on Monday 13th November of a range of seven classical CDs. It is the first time that a collection of classical recordings has been specifically created for a multiple retail grocery outlet.
Lynne Woolmer, Marketing Director of independent record label ISIS records who developed the idea, said “Our research highlighted a strong synergy between Sainsbury’s shoppers and Classic FM’s audience.”
The seven CDs, which include two Christmas titles, will be priced £7.99. The launch will be promoted by Sainsbury’s with a national press campaign; Classic FM will also promote the CDs, both on-air and in the Classic FM The Magazine. The CD’s will also be played on air, in Henry Kelly’s weekday morning programme
