Classic Merger Being Reviewed

The proposed acquisition of Classic FM by GWR Group *(GWR And Classic In £215m Merger) may be referred to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission. If the director general of Fair Trading believes the merger qualifies for further investigation, the secretary of state for trade and industry will be advised on whether to send it to the Commission.
