Classic FM is to sponsor a Celebrity Horserace at the Newmarket Countryside Race Day on Saturday 22nd May, featuring riders such as Desert Orchid’s jockey, Simon Sherwood. The Celebrity stakes, a £3,000 handicap over one mile aims to raise funds for three charities. Reports from the event will be transmitted live from Newmarket between noon and 4pm on the day.
