Clwyd Refuses To End Granada Row

Labour shadow secretary for National Heritage, Ann Clwyd, has made it clear she is prepared to continue her battle against Granada TV, claiming it does not deserve the ITV licence it holds. Clwyd challenged Heritage Secretary Peter Brooke yesterday saying he should admit the Government and the ITC made “a complete mess” of the franchise applications. The row continues following last week’s decision by the ITC to ignore the initial allegations (Newsline 22/3).
