Commercial Radio Holds Lead – Rajar
According to early Rajar leaks, commercial radio has increased its lead over the BBC in the 4th quarter, attracting around 400,000 more listeners. The BBC’s listening hours have fallen a further 10%. The three national stations suffered a drop in audiences, although they have increased share by around 15% year on year between them. Radio 2’s audience continued to grow.
