Commercial Radio Is Fastest Growing Medium
Advertising Association figures published this week have confirmed Commercial Radio as the fastest growing advertising medium for the third year in a row. The Quarterly Survey of Advertising Expenditure showed that Commercial Radio revenue grew by 23% in 1995 taking it to a record 4.3% of display advertising.
This is particularly impressive considering the total display advertising marketplace increased by 7% and no other medium achieved growth of over 8.4%. Industry forecasts suggest that Commercial Radio will again be the fastest growing advertising medium in 1996 and reports from the marketplace indicate that this year has started well.
