COMMERCIAL RADIO REVENUE GROWTH
Commercial radio advertising revenue grew by 13.2% year on year during the first quarter of 1993. Early reports show that revenue has been almost 20% up year on year during the second and third quarters of 1993, although there are no confirmed figures available as yet.
Stations suggest that sponsorship revenue, which the Association of Independent Radio Companies does not currently collate, has been growing even faster.
