According to the latest Concord Outdoor Rates Forecast outdoor advertising has made a healthy start to the year, with poster panel prices in the first quarter up by an unprecedented 18% YoY.
The overall rates growth forecast for 1994 on 1993 is 9%. Supersites are showing the greatest increases, then 48-sheets, with 6-sheets showing smaller rises. In 1993 outdoor rates increased by 4.9% overall year on year.
Steve Wilson, Strategic Buying Director at Concord, said: “Outdoor has made a storming start to 1994…the forecast must be for substantial real rates growth in the year ahead.
