Conde Nast To Launch Two Magazines

Conde Nast, publisher of Vogue, House & Gardens and Vanity Fair, will be launching two new titles next year.

A UK edition of the American Conde Nast Traveller will launch in September 1997, while GQ Active will go monthly in April 1997. The Traveler was launched in the United States in 1987 and its circulation currently stands at 850,000. The UK version will be based in London and will cover travel from a British and European perspective. Its publishing director will be Deborah Gresty, currently publishing director of House & Garden.

GQ Active was launched in May as a bi-monthly title *Conde Nast To Launch New Magazine covering men’s health, fitness and sports interests and Peter Stuart, publishing director of GQ, will be publishing director of the new title. Editors for both titles are expected to be announced in due course.
