Condé Nast is set to launch its Traveller magazine in India.
The glossy travel title, which will launch with an October issue, follows on from the success of Indian Vogue and GQ magazines.
It also adds to the publisher’s global expansion plans, which will also see Tatler launch in Russia and Vogue launch in Turkey next month.
The Indian version of Condé Nast Traveller, which will go to print every two months, will be the sixth edition of the title.
The company is currently recruiting staff ahead of the magazine’s launch.
Last October, Condé Nast announced plans to relaunch the title’s website CNTraveller.com before Christmas.
The new-look site, which features more videos and an interactive Twitter travelogue, is the first major overhaul of the upmarket travel site since its launch in 2000.
In the UK, Condé Nast Traveller has a circulation of around 81,500, according to ABC figures for January to June 2009.
