Cordiant Profits Up 31.4%

The release of Cordiant Communication’s (the global creative communications group) interim financial results revealed an increase in pre-tax profits of 31.4%, up to £11.1 million. Earnings per share have risen to 2.7p from 1.9p (a 40.2% increase at constant exchange rates) and an increase of 8.9% in revenues was reported.

Michael Bungey, chief executive of Cordiant, commented: “We are building the Group’s momentum, with strong revenue growth and enhanced margins in the first half. We remain committed to achieving a 10% margin for this year and a new target of 11% for next year.”
