Coronation Street Repeats In Afternoon?

Following ITV’s decision to scrap STV’s ‘Take the High Road’ and Granada’s ‘Families’ from its afternoon schedule, the Network is now planning to show repeats of Emmerdale and Coronation Street in an attempt to boost audience share amongst lunchtime and afternoon viewers.

LWT’s Blind Date will have a fresh look from the autumn in an attempt to stave off attack from a strengthened BBC schedule – headed by Noel’s House Party which managed to reduce Blind Date’s average number of viewers by 3m compared to the previous series.
