Barry Cox, director of the ITV Association, is to leave his post at the end of March. He will continue to work for ITV on a part-time basis until the end of May.
Cox commented: “One of my main tasks over the past three years has been to lead ITV’s digital TV effort. Now the job is passing to those who are actually going to run the business – so it is an appropriate time for me to move on.”
Following Cox’s departure, the ITVA will be merged with the ITV Network Centre under Richard Eyre and the post of director of the ITVA disappears.
