CRCA Appoints New Chairman
The Commercial Radio Companies Association (CRCA) has named its chief executive Paul Brown, as its new chairman. Brown succeeds Emap Radio chief executive Tim Schoonmaker.
Paul Brown commented on his appointment: “I am delighted and proud to be elected to chair the Association. Over the year ahead, CRCA will need to work even harder to communicate its views to Government, the Radio Authority and other trade bodies. The CRCA board brings together all UK commercial radio interests and is served by a staff dedicated to achieving regularity and legislative change that will help commercial radio prosper.”
