Curzon Home Cinema launches on BT TV

Curzon Home Cinema has launched on BT TV as part of an exclusive new deal to bring Curzon film content to BT viewers. The video on demand service will give subscribers the opportunity to watch films on TV on the same day as the cinema release.

The first major film released simultaneously will be The Selfish Giant on October 25. Directed by Clio Barnard, the film is a contemporary fable about two teenage boys who get caught up in the world of copper theft.

As well as the opportunity to see films on the same day as cinema releases, the partnership with Curzon will offer BT TV viewers new releases on the same day as the DVD goes on sale, “exclusive curated seasons” and filmmaker retrospectives.

Films available to BT TV customers on Curzon Home Cinema will include What Masie Knew, Mister John and Fill The Void.

Prices will range from £10 to watch a film on the same day it is released in cinemas to £2.50 for high-definition “modern greats”.
