Cable & Wireless Communications has appointed Rapier Stead & Bowden to handle the advertising for the first phase of the new company’s launch. The agency will work alongside C&WC’s media planning consultancy, Michaelides and Bednash and media buyers, The Media Business Group.
Rapier will provide the creative lead for all communications, which will include advertising, PR, direct marketing and internal communications.
The first phase of the launch has just taken off with a print-media and poster advertising campaign, the second phase is planned for the autumn. Bartle Bogle & Hegarty, Howell Henry Claldcott Lury, Rapier Stead & Bowden, Saatchi & Saatchi and St Lukes have been invited to pitch for this stage of the campaign.
