Daily Telegraph Gets New Look

Daily Telegraph Gets New Look

From Monday 11 September the Daily Telegraph will have a new look. The paper has undergone a major redesign to give it a crisper and cleaner appearance.

Changes include new fonts, bolder headers, left-aligned headlines and additional white space. An index on page two will allow easier navigation and each section will now have a more defined ‘front page’.

The comment pages will also be revamped and new columnists are to be introduced. The sport, weather and radio listings will all be extended. Saturday’s Travel section will be given a complete facelift and Money-Go-Round will be renamed Your Money.

Editor Charles Moore said: “During the past decade, the Daily Telegraph has undergone significant changes producing fresher, livelier content in addition to its unrivalled coverage of home and foreign news. The redesign will allow new readers to sample the excellence of our product whilst current readers will find a brighter looking newspaper.”
