Dancing On Ice Final Nets A Cool 10.4 Million

Dancing On Ice The Dancing On Ice final skate off drew more than 10.4 million adults on average to ITV1 last night, with Suzanne Shaw’s win giving the channel a 44% audience share.

The show was on between 7pm and 9pm, and took a peak of over 11.4 million adults towards the end of the programme. Following on from that was Morse spin-off, Lewis, which was watched by over 7.7 million. This gave ITV1 a 35.4% viewing share between 9pm and 11pm.

Sunday night staple, Antiques Roadshow, pulled in over 5.1 million adult viewers (24.2%) with a Sport Relief special on BBC One, with EastEnders following.

The show was rescheduled following Friday’s Sport Relief coverage, and gained an audience of five million adults. This was a 21.4% share as Tanya made the ultimate sacrifice in her revenge plot against Max, and Lucy Beale scaled new heights of out of control with a massive party advertised on her social networking page.

New religious drama, The Passion, was watched by more than 3.8 million adults (15.5%), whilst the final part of Orwellian glimpse into the future, The Last Enemy, attracted almost two million (8.2%).

Saturday night’s ratings winners came primarily in the form of ITV1’s Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and BBC One’s Casualty. The light-hearted entertainment format drew around 6.3 million adult viewers (31.3%), whilst the hospital drama lured almost seven million (33%).

Meanwhile, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new search for west end stars, I’d Do Anything, got off to a less than spectacular start, drawing just over 5.1 million adults, a 25% audience share, to BBC One between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Earlier, the Six Nations Rugby coverage of Wales’ triumph attracted over 5.1 million, giving BBC One a 29.4% share between 5pm and 7.30pm.
