Date Set For National Cinema Day

Sunday 15th june has been named as National Cinema Day, when cinemas across the country will be giving people the chance to see any film for £1.

Last year all records were broken when over one million people visited the cinema on the day. This year the event, which is sponsored by Barclays Bank, is expected to attract 1.5 million movie goers.

Films being shown on the day will include Fifth Element with Bruce Willis, Absolute Power with Clint Eastwood and the new Nicholas Cage film Con Air.

National Cinema Day is organised by AIM (All Industry Marketing for Cinema).
