The ITC has announced that Diamond Cable was the only company to apply for the local delivery franchise covering the Vale of Belvoir (Newsline 19/02).
Diamond proposes to serve 4,545 homes by the end of the year 2000 and has bid the sum of £1. The ITC must now assess the business and technical plans put forward by Diamond to ensure that it is able to carry out its proposals. The area, covering parts of Nottingham and Leicester, comprises around 11,000 homes.
