Direct Marketing Expenditure Tops £6bn

A report from the Direct Marketing Association puts the annual direct marketing expenditure for 1996 at £6.1 billion, up 10% on the previous year.

The figures also reveal that the two fastest growing areas of the direct marketing industry are Direct Response TV and Direct Response Radio, with expenditure increases of 38% to £551m and 113% to £100m respectively.
