Dorland Chief Exec Leaves
According to trade press reports Paul Twivy, chief executive of Bates Dorland, has left the company in an acrimonious dispute.
Campaign says that the row was between Twivy and the Bates chairman Michael Bungey over Twivy’s future role in the company. He apparently turned down the job of worldwide head of strategic planning and new business and the matter is now being handled by lawyers. It is not known exactly what the nature of the dispute is, though Twivy is thought to be considering whether he has grounds for ‘constructive dismissal’.
…Ogilvy and Mather has recruited Alan Saunders as head of television, taking over from Alisdair Delves. Delves has left the company to return to his management consultancy firm.
