Dove serves up first-ever limited-edition beauty bar with Venus Williams

Dove has teamed up with tennis champion Venus Williams to launch the Dove x Venus #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar, the first-ever limited-edition version of its iconic product.

The Dove x Venus #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar is a vibrant green, reminiscent of a tennis ball, and boasts a refreshing passionfruit & lemon balm fragrance chosen by Venus herself, according to the press release. Each bar also features the word “CONFIDENT” and is nestled in a limited-edition canister made from recycled materials.

This keepsake isn’t just beautiful, it’s for a good cause

This partnership aims to tackle a critical issue: keeping girls in sports. Research by Dove reveals a disheartening reality – 45% of girls globally drop out of sports by age 14, with body confidence being the main culprit. Twice the rate of boys.

For instance, Dove has partnered with Bras for Girls to donate over 1,000 sports bras, supporting late elementary to middle school girls.
