DRDB Rolls Out New DAB Awareness Ads
![]()
The Digital Radio Development Bureau (DRDB) has launched the second phase of its advertising campaign on analogue radio stations, designed to raise awareness of digital radio.
The ads, which feature veteran DJ John Peel, are 20, 30 and 40 second slots which will run on Classic FM, Virgin AM and over 60 local analogue stations for the four weeks to April 27. Peel was signed to be the “voice” of the campaign earlier this year (see DRDB Signs John Peel For Marketing Campaign).
The ads are part of a series which the DRDB aims to roll out each quarter, building benefit awareness with consumers. This new set highlights the choice, ease of tuning and lack of interference digital radio offers.
