Dyke Joins Pearson
Greg Dyke is to return to broadcasting as chairman and chief executive of Pearson’s television interests. Dyke resigned as chief executive of LWT last February, after it was taken over by Granada in a hostile bid.
Dyke will join Pearson on March 1 and will be responsible for expanding the group’s television interests worldwide. Pearson owns Thames Television, the former London franchise holder, and holds stakes in a number of satellite services including BSkyB.
