Early End For Agony Line

Early End For Agony Line

Agony Line, the monthly women’s problem magazine which launched on 23 September is to suspend publication after only the first issue.

The publisher, WW Publishing, has not ruled out the possibility of relaunch- ing the title. The decision has been blamed on poor sales; (initial figures indicate that sales were only 25,000); and the A5 size of the title.

However, the £1.30 price and the relative lack of content for the money together with poor quality print may have been factors. (See MediaTel first issue report – Newsline 27/9)
