Editor Heads For The Sky

The editor of Sky magazine, Chris Hemblade, is stepping down from the position, and his deputy Michael Hogan is moving up to take his place.

Hemblade wants to devote more time to writing, and has plans to freelance for Emap’s secret Project J, being run by his predecessor Mark Firth, as well as other titles.

He is also intending to write a biography, but couldn’t reveal to Newsline who the subject would be. Hemblade commented: “The allure of writing something proved too tempting at this point in my career.”

Hogan will start his new position in the beginning of 1999.
