Channel 5 Broadcasting has today announced that David Elstein is taking over as Chief Executive Officer. He will join the Board with immediate effect and take up his new role on September 16. He has left BSkyB, where he was Head Of Programming since January 1993, to take up the post. Ian Ritchie, the former Chief Executive, will continue with the company as Chief Operating Officer.
