Emap Appoints Rivals Digital Media To Manage Ad Traffic

Emap has appointed Rivals Digital Media to manage its online advertising activity across sites such as FHM and New Woman.

The deal will see the independent digital publisher manage campaign implementation, day to day delivery, account management and analysis for Emap’s entire online portfolio. It will also work alongside Emap’s sales team to identify new strategies to maximise accountability and return on investment for clients.

Commenting on the deal, Ian Linkleter, commercial director of Rivals Digital Media, said: “We are delighted to start this new venture with such a high profile client and look forward to expanding this service to other clients at a similar level.”

Bruce Daisley, sales director at Emap online, added: “It was crucial for us that customers saw real benefit from this change. We’re convinced that customers will be delighted with the impact of Rival’s appointment.”

Rivals recently formed a marketing partnership with Virgin Megastores to promote the music chain’s new website (see Rivals Teams Up With Virgin Megastores For Football News). The company has also run and audited SMS services for The Carphone Warehouse and The Link for the past two years (see Rivals Cashes In On Growing Demand For SMS Packages).
