It is rumoured that Emap Radio is currently in exclusive negotiations with Hanson, owner of Melody 105.4FM with a view to buying the London-based radio station.
Today’s Financial Times reports that Hanson has effectively sidestepped bids from GWR, Scottish Radio Holdings and Golden Rose Communications (subscribers see Interest Builds In Melody) to discuss a deal exclusively with Emap Radio, owners of Kiss FM.
Hanson declined to comment when contacted by Newsline.
