Emap Boasts Improved Youth Listening
Emap Radio is claiming that it has had success in increasing its reach among the young following the release of the latest Rajar figures.
London station Kiss 100’s market share among 15-24 year olds rose from 11% to 15%, 96.9 Viking FM in Hull has seen listening rise by 30% and Rock FM in Preston increased its reach from 55% to 66%. The Magic stations have also performed well since launching earlier this year, debuting with a 9.7% share of audience.
Managing Director of Emap Radio, Dee Ford says: “We are particularly pleased with the way our Magic stations have performed across the North and how well our younger brands such as Kiss and Rock have done in increasing the numbers of 15-24 year olds listening.”
