EMAP Images has promoted Advertisement Director, Sandra McClean to the newly created position of Commercial Director. McClean will continue to manage Images’ advertisement department, but will in addition take responsibility for all promotional and marketing activity. She will be relinquishing her role as publisher of CU Amiga. Andy McVittie publisher of Nintendo Magazine and Sega Saturn will add publisher of CU Amiga to his other publishing roles.

Images has also announced the creation of three new senior editorial posts, editor in chief, art director and group production editor. Richard Howatt, formerly editor of Cycling Plus and deputy editor of Mountain Bike Pro, has been promoted to group production editor. The other two new senior positions have not been filled.

This new era in EMAP Images’ development is being marked by a move to a new office. By March 1, the company will have relocated to London Docklands. EMAP have acquired 11,00 sq ft of open plan offices at 34 Millharbour. The new address will house two purpose-built games’ suites.
