Emap Launches New Sales Initiative
Emap On Air, Emap’s broadcast sales and marketing company, has launched a major sales initiative for consumer brands called “Pure Magic”.
The new sales push will run across Emap’s Magic stations and is designed for national advertisers targeting an audience of 30-40 year olds, especially women, who have previously “fallen between” the FM and AM station formats. Research has shown that women in this age group are heavy shoppers and Pure Magic has been designed to capitalise on pre-shopping times – 9am-11am and 3pm-5.30pm – across the Magic stations which have also been branded to reach this target audience.
Two consumer brands – Nouvelle Toilet Tissue and Oasis Holiday Villages – are signed up to run campaigns as part of the initiative.
