EMAP Metro Prepares FHM For US Launch

EMAP Metro has given Ed Needham, editor of its FHM title, the new role of editor-in-chief of special projects with a particular brief to launch the title in the US. Needham’s current deputy, Anthony Noguera, has been appointed as acting editor of the UK FHM.

EMAP has held plans to launch FHM in the States for a while now and the recent acquisition of US publishing company, Petersen, for £720 million has provided it with a springboard for just such a launch (see EMAP Makes £720m US Move).

EMAP Metro is also currently winding up its launch and marketing plans for the new weekly entertainment magazine Heat (see Heat Gets Promo Drive).
