Emap Online has announced that it will be transferring its third-party internet advertising sales operation to Real Media. This is to allow the sales house to focus on its own in-house sites.
The non-Emap websites formerly sold by Emap are to be incorporated into the international portfolio currently represented by Real Media UK, a division of PubliGroupe, the world’s largest seller of print and transactional advertising.
Roger Green, joint managing director of Emap Online, commented: “The online brands we’ve successfully launched over the past few months have now developed to the point where they need the undivided attention of a team of sales professionals able to concentrate exclusively on our own sites.”
Non-Emap sites include ESI, UKMedia Info and Ministry of Sound.
