Emap Signs Multiplatform Ford Promotion Deal

Emap is to run a multimedia promotion for the Ford Ka this summer, which will include the biggest ever radio promotion by a car client on Emap Performance.

The deal forms part of Mindshare’s series of multi-channel communication initiatives with Ford and Ford’s second cross media promotion with Emap in the last 12 months. Activity will focus around a nationwide competition to find the best bootleg track.

Suzy Berry, group account director at Emap, said: “The partnership spans five of our media channels with synergistic creative and a bespoke logo, all produced exclusively by Emap ensuring a truly integrated campaign.”

The competition will supported by multiplatform activity involving Kiss 100, Big City Network, Kiss TV, QTV, Mixmag, The Face and FHM.com. Sponsorship of radio shows, magazine advertorials, TV promos and online activity will be carried out over four months. The competition will culminate in a series of Ka Original Mix music events in London and Ibiza.
