EMAP plc has announced that it is to acquire the business magazine publishing interests of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), which include the weekly magazine New Civil Engineer and six other titles.
Integral to the acquisition is a long term agreement for publication of New Civil Engineer and Civil Engineer International, which are the magazines of the members of the ICE.
In addition to Civil Engineer International and New Civil Engineer, the publishing portfolio of the Institution of Civil Engineers includes Offshore Engineer, Ground Engineering and New Builder.
